Wall and Keogh, 45 Richmond St South, Portobello, Dublin

Wall and Keogh is another little gem in the world of Dublin's cafes. If you love tea and like me prefer to drink it somewhere with a great design you'd love this place. It's located in Portobello and once again it's one of these places you could easily miss if no one ever told you about it, or if you aren't too familiar with this area of Dublin.

This organic tea house is a great spot for meeting friends over a cuppa, to try some tea varieties you have never had before. You'll find over 150 blends, the staff knows their stuff and will happily share some of their precious knowledge with you. The display is lovely and you can smell the tea from the lid   to decide which one to go for. There are almost too many of them so I'd encourage you to ask for advice to make the best choice.

The decor is great too, you can sit in comfy armchairs downstairs or even enjoy their outside seating area. It's modern, funky and feels a bit like a cool cafe you'd find in Berlin or New York, with great music in the background.

They have a simple menu of sandwiches, sushi or treats (scones, muffins, carrot cake, etc...) if you are hungry.

Ah go on... this is the perfect place to become a tea connoisseur!
