12 Treats of Christmas food tours: That's a wrap!

On the 1st of December I celebrated my 9 year anniversary of living in Dublin. I truly believe that I fell in love with the city because I arrived during the festive season, when everyone was merry and the city so christmassy. In the last 9 years I've only spent 2 Christmases in France and the rest here, but it's because I just love it, Irish people know how to embrace the Christmas spirit and it's amazing to see.

I guess it made sense to give a Christmas twist to my usual food tours and it was a real pleasure to lead people around the streets of Dublin waving my baguette  candy cane in the air. Yesterday was my last food tour of the year and I have to say that I would run Christmas tours all year around if I could. I enjoyed every minute of it: the smiley faces while sampling lots of chocolates, the group cheering while drinking mulled wine and showing Irish people some local businesses they've never visited before. I was also very happy to have my first return customer, lovely June who was on my morning French tour a few weeks ago and attended my last Christmas food tour.

I created a little video which I think sums up my Christmas food tours well. I'm already looking forward to next year's tours!
