Cocktails at The Liquor Rooms

When I met my friend for tapas the other day we didn't have room for dessert but did feel like having a little cocktail after our meal, so we headed to the Liquor Rooms.

The Liquor Rooms is a late night bar located in a basement level venue on Wellington quay. I absolutely love the the vintage themed interior, it's a mix of Circus, Alice in Wonderland and Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge. You get the idea, it's quirky and shabby chic.

There are many different rooms and sitting spaces and when we visited on a Friday night pretty much all the tables were reserved, so book your table if you're planning a weekend visit!

Over one of the bars there is a mechanic system with bottles hanging in the air and rotating above the counter which is pretty cool.

On the cocktail menu, the choice is extensive and it's not easy to decide as they're all tempting. Prices range from around €10-12.

I'm going to be the most useless blogger here because I don't remember the name of our drinks but they were great cocktails I can assure you.

I had a look around and really liked this place, it was quite early in the evening and wasn't packed yet.

There is a DJ and a dance floor for those who want to party until late.

There are also some cosier and more intimate corners if dancing isn't your thing.

We sat in the room with the circus tent ceiling where we even watched some acrobatics while sipping on our cocktails.

I still don't remember the names of the cocktails...

Well if you go and want to order the same cocktails you could always show them my blog post...

Joking aside, the Liquor Rooms is perfect if you're looking for something different from the usual pub or are in search of tasty cocktails in a beautiful venue.
