Love Supreme, 57 Manor Street, Stoneybatter, Dublin 7

Blog update: Love Supreme makes their own sausage rolls, cookies, pies and croissants.

Love Supreme is one of the newest additions to Dublin's coffee shop scene and it's located in Stoneybatter. If you're a coffee addict you'll love the place, they sell a few coffee related products onsite (they also have an online shop) and their coffee is roasted by Ferg Brown from Roasted Brown.

Love Supreme's is minimalist in its decor, white and bricked walls, a mini chair hanging on the wall and a lovely vintage weighing scale on one of the counter tops.

It's quite sparse but beautiful. The place isn't huge, however they have some high stools and seats by the window if you want to sit in.

Now let me be honest with you, I don't drink coffee and the main reason I visited Love Supreme was for the cakes. They're made by Kate Packwood from the Wild Flour Bakery and they have a great selection of her products. If you're like me they have different teas and also hot chocolate besides their coffee.

Mr. FFID loved his coffee and I had a peppermint tea. I ate a passionfruit and polenta cake which was beautifully topped with berries, which was lovely and light.

Mr. FFID's cake made with earl grey and cocoa nibs was delicious too.

The range of cakes and sometimes breads vary from time to time but you can keep an eye on Love Supreme's Instagram, this is how I knew what they had. Kate's cakes are always visually stunning and the flavour combinations are like nowhere else in Dublin.

With places like Slice, L. Mulligan Grocer and now Love Supreme, Stoneybatter should be on the must-visit list of any food/craft beer/coffee lover in Dublin.
