Introduction to Blogwriting Course at the Irish Writers Centre

Hi all,  I will be running a five week blogging course at the Irish Writers Centre in September. If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter you might already know but I'm just posting here just in case you missed it.

I'm quite excited because the course is going to be much longer than my usual blogging workshop. The course is aimed at helping those who would love to start a blog out of passion and who aren't really sure how to get started.

The course description can be found here on the Irish Writers Centre's website:

Starts: Wednesday 21st of September
Time: 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Duration: 5 Weeks*
Cost: €140/€120 Members
This introductory level course is aimed at anyone who has ever wanted to start a blog and not known where to start, or started a blog and not known how to grow it. Participants will be provided with advice on getting started, from finding your niche and choosing the right platform to expanding your audience and standing out from the crowd. The course will also cover finding your voice, engaging your audience and, most importantly, using social media. These are not technical or IT based workshops but classes designed to get you started.
The course will take place over five two-hour sessions with the final session being a two hour panel discussion with other bloggers including Niall Byrne (Nialler9) and Nathalie Marquez Courtney.
Bookings can be made on the Irish Writers Centre's website.
